Since 1985 the agency WOLFGANG W. WERNER PUBLIC RELATIONS has been active in film, culture and entertainment. The agency was founded and positioned in the industry by Wolfgang W. Werner, who after a university degree in sociology and american studies, had been working in media research, event management, and as a film journalist. Since 1995 he is managing the agency together with Christiane Leithardt, who after completion of her studies in educational science and psychology, had been a film journalist, and also worked in world sales and publicity.

Three groups of activities are the main focus of WOLFGANG W. WERNER PUBLIC RELATIONS:

• publicity and public relations for the production, the distribution, and the theatrical, DVD and internet release of international and german films in Germany,
• publicity and public relations for national and international companies, personalities and events in the film industry, in that context for example representing since many years german leading actor HEINO FERCH as personal publicists,
• as one of the first german agencies international publicity for the production and festival-presentation of german and international films, since many years regularly representing films for example at the leading festivals in Berlin, Cannes and Venice.
